Short answer
Home Office Design usually takes 15–25 days from design sign-off. Design takes 1–3 weeks, factory production 3–5 weeks running in parallel with site work, and installation plus finishing 1–3 weeks.
Key takeaways
- Typical duration: 15–25 days
- Design approval is the biggest variable
- Factory production saves time
- Monsoon can slow hill-station sites
Typical phases
A well-run project follows this sequence:
- Consultation & site survey: 2–5 days
- Concept & 3D design: 1–3 weeks
- Quote, contract & material lock: 3–7 days
- Factory production and on-site civil/electrical: 3–6 weeks
- Installation, finishing & cleaning: 1–3 weeks
- Snag-list and handover: 2–5 days
What causes delays
Late design decisions, material changes, society work-hour restrictions, imported items and monsoon access issues at hill-station or rural sites.
How we keep to schedule
