Who we are
Pune Interior Designers ("we", "us") is an interior design and turnkey execution studio operating across Pune, Pimpri-Chinchwad and Western Maharashtra. For any question about this policy or your personal data, write to [email protected] or to Baner Road, Baner, Pune, Maharashtra 411045, India.
We act as the data fiduciary for the personal data described below, within the meaning of India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
What we collect
We only collect what we need to respond to an enquiry and prepare a design proposal.
- Details you give us: your name, phone number, email address, the service you are interested in, your property's location, an approximate budget, your intended timeline and anything you type into a message or chat field.
- The page you enquired from: the URL of the page where you submitted a form or started a WhatsApp chat, so our designer knows which service and locality you were looking at.
- WhatsApp and call content: if you message or call us, we keep that conversation so we can follow up on it accurately.
- Technical data: our hosting provider records standard server information such as IP address, browser type and time of request, for security and to keep the site running.
Advertising and tracking
This website uses Google Analytics 4 to measure how people find and move through the site. We do not run advertising, remarketing or social media tracking scripts, we do not build advertising profiles, and we do not sell or share your data with advertisers.
We do not ask for or store payment card details on this website, and we never ask for your bank credentials, OTPs or passwords. Project payments, where applicable, are handled separately against a signed quotation.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 (provided by Google) to see which pages are read, which searches bring people here and where visitors drop off. This tells us what to write next; it is not used to identify you personally.
IP anonymisation is enabled, which means your IP address is truncated before it is stored, so we cannot tie a visit back to an individual. Google acts as our processor for this data and may process it outside India.
- What is collected: pages viewed, approximate location (city level), device and browser type, how you arrived, and how long you stayed.
- What is not collected: your name, phone number or email — nothing you type into an enquiry form is sent to Google.
- How to opt out: use Google's official browser add-on, your browser's tracking protection, or a private window. Blocking it does not affect how the site works.
- Retention: analytics data is retained for the period configured in our Google Analytics property, after which it is deleted automatically.
Why we use your data
We rely on your consent, given when you submit a form or message us. You can withdraw that consent at any time by writing to us, and we will stop contacting you.
We do not use your enquiry details for unrelated marketing, and we do not add you to bulk mailing lists without asking you first.
- To call or message you back about the enquiry you submitted.
- To schedule a site visit and measurement at your property.
- To prepare a design concept and an itemised quotation for your space.
- To keep a record of our correspondence with you about a project.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations where a project proceeds.
Who we share it with
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us operate, and only to the extent they need it:
- Our lead management provider, which receives form submissions so our team can act on them.
- Supabase, which hosts the database where enquiries are stored.
- Our website hosting and content delivery provider, which serves this site.
- WhatsApp (Meta), if you choose to contact us on WhatsApp — that conversation is also governed by WhatsApp's own privacy policy.
- Professional advisers, contractors or vendors engaged on your project, where sharing is necessary to deliver the work you have commissioned.
Storage and international transfer
Some of the providers above operate infrastructure outside India, so your data may be stored or processed outside the country. Where that happens, we rely on the provider's contractual commitments to keep the data secure and to process it only on our instructions.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry data for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and, if a project proceeds, for as long as required for the project record and for legal, tax and accounting purposes. If an enquiry does not proceed, you can ask us to delete it at any time and we will do so unless we are required to retain it.
Security
Enquiries are transmitted over encrypted connections and stored in access-controlled systems, and the database is configured so that website visitors can submit an enquiry but cannot read anyone else's. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the data.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to:
- Confirm what personal data of yours we hold, and get a copy of it.
- Correct or complete anything that is inaccurate or out of date.
- Delete your personal data where we no longer need it.
- Withdraw your consent, and stop contacting you.
- Nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf if you are unable to.
Grievance redressal
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, write to us at [email protected] with "Privacy grievance" in the subject line. We will acknowledge your complaint and respond with the steps we are taking. If you remain dissatisfied, you may escalate to the Data Protection Board of India once it is operational.
Children
Our services are offered to adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has submitted details to us, write to us and we will delete them.
Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our practices change — for example, if we add analytics or an online payment flow. The date at the top always reflects the current version. This version is effective from 10 October 2026.
